Gays march against discrimination and for more AIDS funds

The lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) group celebrates its annual march and parade today at Malate, Manila.

The march and the post parade, themed “Pride of the Orient” are sponsored by the Task Force Pride and different organizations.

ProGay reports that discrimination has worsened the poverty incidence among transgender slumdwellers, forcing the unemployed into low-paid work such as cyber porn performers in the outskirts of the capital.

Oscar Atadero, ProGay’s human rights section officer said, “lack of clear AIDS prevention policies puts trafficked transwomen and prostituted gay men at great risk. Thousands already infected also face the end of the funding for treatment and drugs from the Global Fund for HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria.”

Homosexuality is a sin when…

This is my personal reaction to Ptr.  Joel Osteen when they tackled Homosexuality is Piers Morgan’s CNN Show.  This pastor said that  Homosexuality is a sin and that his friend Elton John is a sinner.

1. IF A HOMOSEXUAL PERSON BUYS THE SERVICES OF A PROSTITUTE.

The Bible is clear about this.  The Bible is against prostitution why? because we defile our physical bodies.  St. Paul says that our physical bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, and if you are a real and a true Christian or disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ you will not defile your physical body.  And also according to science if we will have so many sexual partners there is a high chance that we can acquire sexually transmitted diseases and infection especially HIV.  This is one of the reasons why prostitution is prohibited in the Bible.

2. IF A HOMOSEXUAL PERSON RAPES ANOTHER PERSON.

Sex, is a responsibility.  If a homosexual person rapes another person it is a sin.  Just like what happened to Sodom and Gomorah (Genesis 19).  Straight males wanted to rape the Angelic visitors of Lot.  That was one of their sins.  So, rape in any form is a sin, because we violate another persons right to have or not to have sex.

3. IF A HOMOSEXUAL PERSON BUYS THE SERVICES OF A TEMPLE PROSTITUTE.

St. Paul said in Romans 1:27 and I Corinthians 6:9 about Christians who are buying the services of Temple Prostitutes during their time.  Their (temple prostitutes) services was acquired so the ancient Corinthian people can worship their god of fertility.  This pagan worship is not popular in our time but was very popular during St. Paul’s time.  He (St. Paul) was not talking  about homosexuals in a loving, committed, responsible homosexual love relationships.  He was  talking to Christian’s in Corinth that is committing this pagan worship, because a Christian should not do anything pagan.

In modern translations of the Bible I Corinthians 6:9 was mistrnaslated as homosexuals.  This word is not found in the original Greek manuscripts of the Bible.  The Greek word used here is ARSENOKOITAI it means “male temple prostitute” and not “homosexuals” as we define it today.

4. IF A HOMOSEXUAL PERSON DOESN’T LIVE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF “LOVE”.

The Bible celebrates same sex relationships among them was Ruth and Naomi(Ruth 1:16-17), David and Jonathan (2 Samuel 1:26), Daniel and Asphenaz (Daniel 1) and the Centurion and his male servant (Luke 7:1-10). The Bible does not condemn loving, committed, responsible, Godly homosexual relationships because it is inside the context of love. The Bible declares that God is love and where there is love there is God (I John 4:16).
